ABC/J Summer Festival 2024

On Friday, 28 June 2024, the ABC/J summer party took place at the University of Cologne: A big thank you to everyone who took part and contributed to this wonderful day!

The event began with the impressive keynote lecture by Prof. Dr. Michaela Imelda Hegglin (IEK-7 / Forschungszentrum Jülich) on the topic „Information on climate change: Do we need to rethink our approach?“.

Another highlight was the presentation of this year's ABC/J Research Awards for Early Career Scientists. Congratulations to all award winners for their outstanding contributions to research and their inspiring short presentations!

After the official part, we were able to round off the evening with delicious food from the barbecue, cool drinks and summer music. The relaxed atmosphere provided a great opportunity to get to know each other better and exchange ideas.
