Scientific coordination of the BIGS Land and Food graduate school (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
• Conceptual development of the Bonn International Graduate School (BIGS) Land and Food in coordination with the participating university lecturers and the dean's office
• Focus on the quality standards set by the University of Bonn's excellence strategy
• Conceptual support for international doctoral programs
• Administrative and financial management of BIGS
• Preparation, follow-up, and moderation of BIGS meetings and events
• Design and implementation of workshops and seminars within the framework of BIGS for doctoral candidates within a time frame of 4 SWS
• Coordination and management of BIGS's day-to-day business
• Advising and informing BIGS members
• Coordinating the assistants assigned to BIGS,
• Proactive cooperation at the interfaces with the doctoral office and the international department of the AEI faculty.
Your profile:
• Completed university degree (master's), a doctorate in agricultural, food, engineering, or economic sciences or in higher education and science management would be desirable,
• Good German and very good English language skills,
• Knowledge of the structures and degree programs of the AEI faculty,
• Experience in higher education and science management as well as in project management,
• Conceptual competence and strong implementation skills,
• A committed, proactive, and innovative personality,
• Structured, efficient way of working,
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
